We are currently seeking candidates for the following position.

Director of Catechesis
Part-time Position
Responsibilities include:
* Develop, lead and coordinate a Christian Formation program for grades 1-8. Recruit and train all catechists.
* Develop, lead and coordinate a Sacramental preparation program for First Penance, First Eucharist and Confirmation.
* Develop and coordinate RCIA/RCIC and opportunities for adult faith formation.
* Serve as a member of the Pastoral Staff.

Interested candidates must be a practicing Catholic committed to the teaching and values of the Catholic Church with a demonstrated knowledge of Church teachings. A Bachelor’s Degree in Theology or Education is required as well as strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others. A background in teaching and parish catechesis, strong administrative and organizational skills and organizational leadership ability is required. Ideal candidates will be open to new and creative approaches to faith formation (i.e., family catechesis, intergenerational learning).
