C3L - Community Of Life Long Learners
Are You Under The Age Of 120? Then C3L Is For You!

What is C3L?
It is an approach to faith formation that acknowledges that we never finish growing in our understanding and practice of our Catholic faith.
Therefore, it is geared to all parish households, for we all learn and grow in our faith throughout our whole lifetime. Parents, Children and single individuals will all learn together. All parishioners are invited to be involved in C3L. This encourages the sharing of our faith between both the young and the old. Faith formation is not just for children.
We are a community of life long learners, and the life experiences and wisdom that come with age are treasures that we need to open and share as a parish family. Together we should be formed in faith and together we can enrich and inspire one another to live our faith as committed Catholics.

How Does It Work?
The program is held monthly. With a choice of which evening you wish to attend, either a Sunday or Tuesday evening. It is made up of 9 sessions per year from September through May.
A typical evening of C3L works this way:
1. Welcome and Check in
2. Dinner
3. Introduction to the evening and fun with everyone.
4. Break out sessions by age.(Preschool & Kinders, Elementary 1-5 with parent, Jr. High 6th-8th, High School & Adults)
5. Gathering back together to tie everything together.
6. Pick up take home packets for enrichment and activities for the rest of the month.
7. Closing prayer.
Registration is required. You can register your HOUSEHOLD through the Parish Office. Dinner is an additional small cost to be paid at the night of the event.

Is C3L Required for Reception of Sacraments?
Yes. Just as with other Christian Formation formats, a child's involvement in C3L is required throughout grades 1 through 8.
However, since C3L is a family program, the entire family must attend C3L sessions together.
All students who wish to receive 1st Reconciliation, 1st Eucharist or Confirmation must attend the program with their families throughout grades 1-8.
Specific preparation for each of these sacraments will be given to the children in sessions held separately from the C3L nights. Children will be asked to register separately for this sacramental preparation.

The Benefits of C3L
There is something for everyone. Kids, Parents, Students, Married, Single, Widowed, Teens, Middle-ager, Senior Citizen, Aunt, Uncle, Mom, Dad, Grandparent, Next door Neighbor or any member of the human race.
